Currently, Nelcivil is engaged in various activities of local development (supporting initiatives of local organizations, such as sports clubs, fire brigades, schools and environmental education), including:

- Participation and equipment loan for the Initiative "Clean Portugal";
- Financial contribution to ABC Sports Club in Nelas;
- Learning through Portuguese for foreigners training courses;
- Enrollment in the program RVCC workers in order to obtain compulsory education;
- Continuous training and annual entries in the POPH;
- Program suggestions by employees and Open Door Policy by the Management;
- Disclosure and participation in social campaigns (CVP, AMI, Caritas, etc.);
- Disclosure of voluntary actions.

Nelcivil, as a service provider in the construction and maintenance of petrol stations and supermarkets and big retailers in Portugal, takes responsibility for its actions and any impact it may have on all parties involved.
In this sense, Nelcivil seeks to adopt a participatory approach, fully assuming our responsibility towards customers, employees, suppliers and the environment. Several projects contributed to the route taken by the company, reflecting a real social concern or involvement with the community, whether in respect for the environment.
